These images use a mirror, windows, and water to highlight the figurative and literal idea of self-reflection. The abstracted figures allow the subject to be interpreted as the viewer looking at themselves in the mirror, forming their own identity and self portrait. It can be challenging to have a clear image of oneself from an outside perspective which is what self portraits are often about.
